Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Officially Launched in India at Rs. 67,900; Offers Up to 448GB Free Data for Reliance Jio Users

Samsung has finally launched theGalaxy Note 8 smartphone in India. The device is priced at Rs. 67,900 and will be up for sale on Amazon India, Samsung Shop, and select retail stores across the country. As expected, pre-orders for the Galaxy Note 8 will start today. Initially, the smartphone will be available in Midnight Black and Maple Gold colour options.

And for the pre-order users, Samsung is offering a one-time free screen replacement (much needed one) and a free wireless convertible charger. Another major announcement made by the company alongside the Note 8 is that the Samsung Bixby voice will be rolled out in India starting September 30.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 features a 6.3-inch QHD+ display with a resolution of 2960 x 1440 pixels. It is the same Infinity Display seen on the Galaxy S8 and S8+. It is powered by the Exynos 8895 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. There’s a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The Note 8 comes with dual cameras at the back- one with f/1.7 aperture and the other one with the telephoto lens. There’s a depth mode as well. Also, both the sensors are Optically imaged Stabilized. Up front, the Note 8 comes with an 8MP front-facing camera.
The Galaxy Note 8 also features S-Pen, which is now an advanced one ever. The smartphone is IP68 certified and even has wireless charging support. The smartphone still runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and has a 3300mAh battery.

Along with the Galaxy Note 8, Samsung also announced ‘Samsung Upgrade’ program, where Samsung users will get the best value when they exchange their old Samsung smartphone to purchase the Galaxy Note 8. Also, HDFC Credit users can avail cashback of Rs. 4,000 with the purchase of Note 8. And Reliance Jio is offering up to 448GB of additional data over the next eight months for JioPrime members.

Indian smartphone brand, Kult has launched its third smartphone in the country. Dubbed as Kult Gladiator, this smartphone is released after Kult Beyond, which was launched last month.
